Mar 18, 2013: Just a picture today of the students building the FAW+ kit at Bergen Community College in Paramus NJ. Hopefully we will get a written account of their build process in the future.
Feb 14, 2013: In honor of Valentine's Day, I'm placing a group of "love letters" here from a recent customer - Jim Smith. He purchased a 500 W power-assisted FAW+ and lives in Post Falls, Idaho.
I have a friend that owns North West Recumbent here in Post Falls, Id. He has installed a free wheeling front crank which allows me to peddle when I want. After a few miles, when my pulse rate is where I want it, I can rest my legs a bit. This is really super and I love it. Also, the clear vinyl top that I have retro fitted, that is not very esthetic, really does the job. I have ridden in rain, snow, and 30 + mph winds keeping 100 percent dry and warm enough with body heat. Thanks so much for allowing me to purchase this great Velo from you. Jim
Hi, having great time in the Velo. I am getting 65 to 70 miles per charge. I am able to easily hold 22 to 24 mph. I have coasted to 40 mph on a short down hill with a long run out, no stop in sight. Update. I really enjoy your FAW+. I have peddled about 800 miles to date. I have learned how to conserve energy on battery output as I went 123 miles in the last charge! Also I have retro fitted a snowmobile windshield with clear vinyl top and sides. It breathes and vents out the rear which is open. I rode in the rain for one hour and was completely dry. I also rode @ 23 degrees. The inner surface of the windshield then froze and visibility was very poor. Next time I tried @that temp. I used a scuba mouth piece and tube vented to outside which eliminated the condensation inside. Both the windshield and vinyl cover simply unclip and set aside when the weather warms up in about 7 months. I really love this Velo. You did a magnificent job in fabricating this great vehicle. Wish you the best. Jim
Hi, long time since I have visited with you. I really love the Velo. I ride from 8 to 20 miles most days. I have ridden in driving rains, snow flurries, ice storms, just about any weather. The studded snow tires really increase the drag, about 4+ mph. My windshield and canopy probably cause more drag. That being said, I really don't care as I am able to ride in most weather. I now have 1,032 miles in the Velo. Thank you for allowing me to purchase this super machine. By the way, my scuba tube breathing device eliminates windshield fog in freezing and below temps. The coldest I have gone is 14 degrees. Jim

These and other letters will eventually get a new home in a dedicated section of our updated site - scheduled to be ready by summer.
FAW+ #30 of Dan Chalue, Jr
Jan 1, 2013: The site has received many good comments overall, but one negative has been a lack of keeping this page up to date. We'll try to be better with this. Every page has seen updates (although most changes are extremely minor), but the most important ones relate to new vehicles sold and price changes made.
NOTICE: We have demo velos in-house! One original FAW, one power-assisted FAW+, one fiberglass Quest (Q269) built in Dronten, NL and used on ROAM 2011, and one carbon fiber Bluevelo Quest (QB047).
We also have one FAW+ almost completed that can quickly be prepared for sale, with your preferred options installed.
Our two newest FAW+ velomobiles have been sent to Dan Chalue, Jr. in MA, and to Bergen Community College in NJ as a class project (with Charles Sontag as construction supervisor). Thanks for your purchase!
One of our staff members has been out of the country for a few months, but is expected to be back by mid-summer 2013 to get back to work building and promoting.
April 8, 2012: The site has been up for two days and today I made the first update (the email addresses and a picture were changed, Owner's list put up, and Events content added).
April 3, 2012: Tonight the site should be uploaded to the site and be available online. Yes, I am sure there are problems and I don't have every bit of content in place yet either. If you notice anything, let me know at VelomobileUSA@gmail.com.
As of April 1, 2012, the new, updated version of our website is now up and running (on my personal computer anyway...)!
We should be up on Facebook soon as well! Join us to help spread the velomobile "virus" around the world.
